Por ello, en el presente artículo vamos a tratar de describir las transformaciones acaecidas en esos diferentes ámbitos, así como las repercusiones que sobre el inundo del trabajo se han derivado de todos estos cambios, teniendo en cuenta que afrontamos el año 2000 con un panorama sociolaboral lleno de incertidumbre aunque con la esperanza de alcanzar esos mayores niveles de satisfacción y bienestar social que parecen vislumbrarse en el horizonte deltercer milenio._________________________In the current society the work is a very valued element that it ends up acting as axis regulator of the life of the individuals and of the entirety óf the social system, The work you can consider a phenomenon social in permanent evolution, due to the influence that be receives so much of social, economic and cultural factors that they condition it, as of the perceptions and subjetive valuations that people that develop the labour activity cam, out. In this sense, along the last year they have taken place a series of changes of political, economic, social type and even singular or so much personnel in the international context as in the national one that, without a doubt, they have affected to the work concept that they have the individuals at the present time. For it, presently article will try to describe the transformations happened in those different environments, as well as -the repercussions that it has more than enough the world of the work have been derived of all these changes, keeping in mind that we confront the year 2000 with a labour future full with uncertainty although with the hope of reaching those bigger levels ofsatisfaction and social well-being that seem to be glimpsed in the horizon of the third millennium

Analogies have contributed to the construction and development of scientific knowledge and to its ulterior presentation, because they are essential in the scientific teaching-learning process. In this work the positions about the idea of analogy are analysed and a suggestion about conception and structure analogy is proposed. This fact has permitted the identification and research of the analogy distribution in secondary education textbooks. All this in relation with the following variables: publication date, education level, subjet and school year

Osteoblastoma del sacro. A propósito de dos casos clínicos.

    Get PDF
Osteoblastoma is a primary neoplasm of bone fre- quently located in the posterior elements of the spine, alt- hough rarely affecting the sacrum. Two cases in this location are reported, with a mean follow-up of eight years, treated with an intralesional resection that, without any morbidity, has provided an excellent result. Curettage should be a valid re- section procedure for nonagressive osteoblastomas of the sacrum, although it makes necessary a long follow-up in or- der to watch over the possibility of a local recurrence

Importance of the ornamental flora in the aeropalynology of Seville (Spain). A Cour trap was used to sample the air of the city for eight consecutive years (1987-1994). A total of 32 pollen types has been established, belonging to 30 different families, and making up 30% of the total pollen collected. The types with a representation higher than 0.2% are, in order of importance: Cupressaceae, Matarais, Palmae, Moraceae, Fraxinus, Salicaceae, Casuarina, Acer, Ulmtts and Citrus. Most of the remaining types are entomophilous, so that their appearance in the air is sporadic and at concentrations lower than 1 grain weekly/m3. The ornamental pollen comprises a high percentage of the total pollen between December and April. Most of the types appear in the first half of the year (except Palmae and Casuarina), with the weeks of maximum pollen collection being before week fifteen of the year. The variation in the weekly pollen concentrations throughout the year shows a homogeneous graphic profile, except Palmae and Citrus, which have continual rises and falls in concentration

The purpose of this article is to analyse the assessment procedures and instruments used by teachers of Geography and History of Compulsory Secondary School (ESO) in the Region of Murcia (Spain). The data have been extracted implementing a survey technique proceeded by a descriptive analysis. The results show that teachers generally have a traditional conception of assessment, reflected in the fact that they think that assessment should not change when teaching strategies are changed or when they innovate. On the other hand, although they consider that is necessary to employ a variety of instruments to assess well and to prevent school failure, they still use exams as the most objective and essential instrument in the assessment, while they don’t apply continuous assessment, only tests in a continuous way. The implementation of similar research in other areas or in other subjects shows the existence of contrasts in teacher assessment practices.

Wave Propagation in Periodic Metallic Structures with Equilateral Triangular Holes

    Get PDF
This paper studies wave propagation in a periodic parallel-plate waveguide with equilateral triangular holes. A mode-matching method is implemented to analyze the dispersion diagram of the structure possessing glide and mirror symmetries. Both structures present an unexpected high degree of isotropy, despite the triangle not being symmetric with respect to rotations of 90º. We give some physical insight on the matter by carrying out a modal decomposition of the total field on the hole and identifying the most significant modes. Additionally, we demonstrate that the electrical size of the triangular hole plays a fundamental role in the physical mechanism that causes that isotropic behavior. Finally, we characterize the influence of the different geometrical parameters that conform the unit cell (period, triangle size, hole depth, separation between metallic plates). The glide-symmetric configuration offers higher equivalent refractive indexes and widens the stopband compared to the mirror-symmetric configuration. We show that the stopband is wider as the triangle size is bigger, unlike holey structures composed of circular and elliptical holes where an optimal hole size exists. This work was partially funded by the Spanish Ministerio de Ciencia Innovación y Universidades under the project TIN2016-75097-P, and with European Union FEDER funds under projects TEC2017-84724-P and TEC2017-85529-C3-1-R, by the French National Research Agency Grant Number ANR-16-CE24-0030, by the Vinnova project High-5 (2018-01522) under the Strategic Programme on Smart Electronic Systems, and by the Stiftelsen Åforsk project H-Materials (18-302)

Improving the Working Memory During Early Childhood Education Through the Use of an Interactive Gesture Game-Based Learning Approach

    Get PDF
One of the most socially and culturally advantageous uses of human–computer interaction is enhancing playing and learning for children. In this paper, gesture interactive game-based learning (GIGL) is tested to see if these kinds of applications are suitable to stimulate working memory (WM) and basic mathematical skills (BMS) in early childhood (5–6 years old) using a hand gesture recognition system. Hand gesture is being performed by the user and to control a computer system by that incoming information. The research was developed using a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test, using both an experimental and control group through three phases: the first one was the prior evaluation of the learner’s skills; a second phase in which the use of the technology was developed; and a final phase of evaluation. In the evaluation phases, working memory was measured using the Corsi task, and the basic mathematical skills using the test for the diagnosis of basic mathematical competencies (TEDI-MATH). The results provide clear evidence that the use of these technologies improved both working memory and basic mathematical skills. We can conclude that the children who used GIGL technology showed a significant increase in their learning performance in WM and BMS, surpassing those who did normal school activitiesS
